Why free, and what that means going forward #

BIR Online Tools does not currently enforce any billing gate — every signed-in user gets full access to every shipped module. If a paid tier is introduced later, it will apply to new capability we haven’t built yet (bulk volume, multi-user seats, an API), not by taking away a module that’s free today. If you’re paying for a competing tool solely because you assume this one is limited, it isn’t — try the modules above first.

What’s still in development #

Two features are visible in the app but not yet functional. We’d rather tell you that plainly than have you hit a dead end:

  • BIR Form 2316 (Certificate of Compensation Payment/Tax Withheld) — in development.
  • Annual Alphalist of Employees and Alphalist of EWT (BIR Form 1604-C / 1604-E annual schedules) — in development.

Everything else on this page is live today.

Questions #

Is this really free, or is there a catch? No catch. See the Form 2307 payee email and every module page linked above — the same “free” promise appears everywhere, and we’ve deliberately removed contradictory “Pro” language from the site.

Do I still need the official BIR Validation Module? Yes. Generated DAT files should be validated using the official BIR Validation Module before eSubmission — see How It Works.

What if I want to support the project? The app has a “Support the tool” option in Billing for anyone who wants to contribute — entirely optional, and unrelated to feature access.
