BIR Online Tools Dashboard: A Walkthrough

The BIR Online Tools dashboard is the landing page after sign-in, showing your active company’s registration details, upcoming BIR filing deadlines, and a card for every module in the app. It’s the fastest way to see, at a glance, which company you’re working with and which tools are ready to use.

This guide is part of the App Guide series. It assumes you’ve already added a company — see Getting Started if you haven’t — since most of the dashboard’s content depends on having an active company set.

What do the three stat cards show? #

The top row of the dashboard summarizes account-level state in three numbers: how many companies you’ve saved, how many tool modules are available to use right now, and whether an active company is set. These update immediately as you add companies or as new modules ship.

  • Saved companies — the count of company profiles on file for your account
  • Tools available — how many modules are ready to use now (QAP, SAWT, RELIEF, BIR Certificates, and DAT Repository, as of this writing)
  • Active company — shows “Set” once a company is active, or “Not set” with a prompt to add one

What does the Active company card show? #

Below the stat cards, the Active company card displays the full registration snapshot BIR Online Tools uses to pre-fill every form: registered name, TIN and branch code, taxpayer classification, reporting cycle, RDO code, and complete address — plus a shortcut into Edit company.

If no company is active yet, this card instead shows a short prompt and an Add company button — see Getting Started for that flow.

What are the upcoming deadlines for? #

The Upcoming deadlines card lists standard BIR quarterly and annual filing dates for calendar-year taxpayers — RELIEF/SLSP and QAP (1601-EQ / 1601-FQ) cycles are shown by default, each with a countdown in days. These are general guidance, not computed from your specific company’s reporting cycle, and the card says so directly: verify against the BIR or your RDO, and note that a deadline falling on a weekend or holiday moves to the next business day.

Below the deadlines, a grid of cards covers every module reachable from the sidebar, each with a one-line description, a longer explanation of what it generates, an Open button, and a status badge.

Frequently asked questions #

What does the dashboard show before I add a company? #

With no company saved, the dashboard shows a Saved companies count of zero, an Active company card prompting you to add one, and the same deadline reminders and tool grid, since those don’t depend on a specific company.

Are the upcoming deadlines on the dashboard specific to my company? #

No. The deadlines shown are standard BIR quarterly and annual filing dates for calendar-year taxpayers, provided for guidance only — the dashboard itself says to verify dates with the BIR or your RDO, and deadlines that fall on a weekend or holiday move to the next business day.

What does a Coming soon badge on a tool card mean? #

It means that module’s forms are not yet built — currently Alphalist EE (BIR Form 1604-C) and Alphalist EWT (Schedules 3 and 4) show Coming soon, while QAP, SAWT, RELIEF, BIR Certificates, and DAT Repository are fully available.

Can I use the dashboard without switching away from it to change companies? #

You can switch the active company from the sidebar switcher at any time without leaving the dashboard, and the Active company card and Saved companies stat update immediately to reflect the change.

Summary #

The BIR Online Tools dashboard centers on your active company — its registration details drive every form in the app — alongside general BIR deadline reminders and a card-based launcher for every module. Add a company if you haven’t yet, then use the tool grid’s Open buttons to jump into QAP, SAWT, RELIEF, or BIR Certificates.
